BookForce Online
is the world's only global virtual distribution system.
Built around
databases of titles and customers, publishers can upload
their own files and authorise BookForce Online to print
and ship orders received electronically.
With the web-
based system interconnected to overseas
partners, orders are fulfilled by the print facility closest
to the customer reducing both time, costs and environmental
damage.
There are no
charges for file creation or maintenance for clients agreeing
a 3 year distribution contract and BookForce will account
monthly to its publisher clients for 100% of their net
sales into the book trade.
Publishers retain
their own retail pricing and discount structure as the
system can accommodate most book formats and retail prices
set as low as £4.99.
Some parameters
are set by number of colour pages, book sizes, formats
and extents but packages can be tailor made to suit individual
publisher profiles to reflect specific pricing and trade
terms e.g. Academic and specialist.
